1. Acceptance of Terms

By using, testing on, or browsing TypingZoo (typingzoo.com), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must cease use of the website immediately.

These terms apply uniformly to all users across the world without fee or requirement of registration.

2. Permitted & Prohibited Use

TypingZoo grants users a non-exclusive, revocable, personal license to access and complete typing mock tests and read tutorials for self-improvement.

Permitted Activities

  • Taking unlimited 5-minute, 10-minute, and custom speed tests for personal skill improvement.
  • Saving local scoring progress in your personal browser's LocalStorage.
  • Sharing links to guides and educational content with peers or classrooms.

Prohibited Activities

  • Automated Scraping:Using headless browsers, bots, or extraction scripts to scrape test passages, scoring logic, or analytics data.
  • Commercial Resale:Republishing, packaging, or selling TypingZoo passages or UI components as part of a paid service.
  • Disruption:Attempting to overload server infrastructure, bypass rate-limiting mechanisms, or manipulate client-side code to falsify verified scoring.

3. Intellectual Property

All software logic, keystroke event handling code, responsive UI designs, SVG assets, and original written tutorials are the exclusive property of TypingZoo and protected by international copyright laws. Any passage excerpts sourced from the public domain remain within their respective rights.

4. Accuracy & Educational Purpose

All typing tests on TypingZoo are designed for self-assessment and educational practice. While our scoring engine follows standard keystroke evaluation (5 keystrokes=1 word), practice tests do not constitute official workplace or examination certifications.

5. Platform Availability

We strive to maintain continuous 24/7 uptime; however, periodic scheduled maintenance or unforeseen server interruptions may occur. TypingZoo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without uptime warranties.

6. Third-Party Links

TypingZoo may contain reference links to third-party portals, educational resources, and tools. We bear no responsibility for the content, uptime, or privacy standards of external websites.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall TypingZoo, its founders, or contributors be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including score variances in third-party testing environments.

8. User Conduct

Users agree to practice in good faith without injecting malicious input into forms or feedback endpoints. We reserve the right to restrict access to entities violating fair-use policies.
